The research featured on this site stems from work conducted as part of a Doctor of Ministry (Dmin) study at Asbury Theological Seminary, exploring the experiences of the working class within the Church of England and the need for more working-class church leaders.

Biography
Cris Rogers is a Church of England Rector, church planter, artist, maker, and Star Wars fan. Along with his wife Beki, Cris leads All Hallows Bow, a highly missional church in East London. He has a deep passion for discipleship and apprenticeship in the way of Jesus. Additionally, Cris hosts a weekly discipleship podcast called “Making Disciples with Cris Rogers,” and serves as the Chair of Spring Harvest. Alongside speaking not only in the UK, but within Eurpoe and America’s on Discipleship and church renewal.
Within the Church of England, the Revd Cris serves as the Stepney Estates Champion, supporting the Bishop of Stepney in encouraging mission and ministry across estates. He is a member of the Archbishops’ College of Evangelists and a trustee of Trinity College Bristol. Cris has worked with a number of Dioceses to develop discipleship and formation pathways and to shape strategies that equip local churches for confident, contextually rooted mission. His ministry is shaped by a commitment to evangelism, community engagement, and the renewal of the Church’s presence on estates.
Through his ministry, research, and various platforms, Cris aims to shed light on the unique challenges and opportunities within working-class communities, while advocating for the development and empowerment of working-class church leaders who can effectively serve and lead these communities.
